We are committed to the safety and well-being of every participant in our Atlanta metro programs. Our safeguarding policies are designed to ensure a secure, respectful, and professional environment for all youth and women.
Background Checks
All volunteer applicants and staff members must undergo a thorough criminal background check and professional reference verification. This process is mandatory for any role involving direct interaction with minors or vulnerable participants.
Training & Awareness
We provide mandatory safeguarding training for all volunteers. This training covers recognizing signs of abuse, reporting procedures, and maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all participants.
Reporting & Response
We maintain a confidential reporting system for safeguarding concerns. If you have a concern, please contact our foundation office immediately. We will review the concern and take appropriate action in accordance with local laws and our adopted policies.
Emergency Protocols
In the event of an emergency, we will follow the guidance of local law enforcement and emergency services. Our primary focus is the immediate safety of the participants and the prompt reporting of any safeguarding concerns.
